1. General-purpose tools
FreeToolsBoxprovides browser utilities and guides for common developer workflows. The tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The site is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, security, compliance, or cryptographic advice. Output from any tool should be independently verified before use in production systems, security-sensitive contexts, legal filings, regulated workflows, or customer-facing environments.
2. Verify important output
Review results before using them in production. Edge cases can vary across programming languages, runtime versions, browser engines, and regional settings. A JSON parser behavior, a regex engine difference, a timezone interpretation, or a character encoding mismatch can produce different results in different environments. The tool surfaces known edge cases and warnings, but it cannot guarantee that every possible input combination produces the same output as your target environment.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FreeToolsBox to:
- Process illegal content, malware, or material that violates applicable laws
- Attack, probe, or attempt to compromise systems, networks, or security controls
- Bypass access controls, authentication mechanisms, or rate limits
- Handle data that you are not legally authorized to view, copy, or transform
- Process personally identifiable information, protected health information, payment card data, or other regulated data categories on shared or untrusted devices
- Automate excessive requests that degrade service for other users
4. Intellectual property
The site name, logo, and content (guides, documentation, tool descriptions) are the property of FreeToolsBox. The site is built with open-source frameworks (Next.js, React) whose licenses are separate. Tool names such as JSON, JWT, Base64, SHA-256, and UUID refer to open standards and specifications that are not owned by FreeToolsBox. Any trademarks mentioned in guides or examples belong to their respective owners.
5. Third-party services
The site may use hosting, CDN, analytics, advertising, and verification services provided by third parties. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. FreeToolsBox is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or data practices of third-party services. The presence of advertisements does not constitute endorsement of advertised products or services.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FreeToolsBox and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the tools, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, security breaches, or reliance on tool output in production, legal, financial, medical, or other critical contexts.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted on the Updates page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last reviewed.
